    Workshop Description

    This workshop is designed for those who want to work on the nuts and bolts of composing different types of proposals and learn ways to build ongoing relationships with both public and private funding interest.  This workshop is intended for both beginning and intermediate level grant writers. 

     

    In this workshop, you can expect to:

    • Understand how grant writing and fund development must fit within a broader agency context
    • Recognize the critical importance of building relationships with potential funders
    • Learn the nuts and bolts of putting together a strong proposal
    • Develop a Proposal Ready System
    • Receive a resource binder that includes a comprehensive guide to public and private funding opportunities


    About the Presenter 

     

    Vivian M. Linderman, founder and principal of Blue Lotus Consulting, is a strategic thinker, fundraiser and organizational development specialist. Vivian has worked professionally in the nonprofit arena in the areas of administration, fundraising and special event planning and coordination. She also has held several nonprofit administrative level positions and has served on several nonprofit boards of directors.

    Vivian holds a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in health care administration from California State University, Long Beach and a bachelor’s degree in social ecology with an emphasis in criminal justice from the University of California at Irvine. In addition, Vivian continues to hone her administrative and consulting skills through advanced education in nonprofit management and fundraising strategies.
